So...I'm curious about blogging. Could it be a good way to keep up with friends and family? Will I keep it up? Is it better than leaving notes on Facebook (which I rarely do now, anyways?) I guess only time will tell. I wish I had kept a journal during our amazing first year of marriage. Jon and I agree that it has been AWESOME and we didn't experience ANY of the negative things that people tell you happen in the first year. I'm starting to wonder who those "people" really are! In fact, we never even had a fight or real disagreement. Weird!
We've adjusted well to living with each other, and I guess after knowing each other for so long, there wasn't too much adjustment to do, other than move our STUFF around. Yes, we both have accumulated way too many things...enough for a house (not our condo). I probably am responsible for most of the junk, and need to work on giving Jon more space to call his own. Other than clutter, things are great!
A few friends have blogs, and Jenny and I are going to keep a separate blog when we go to China for 3 weeks. Jon will be staying home and trying to stay busy, and we will definitely miss each other. We have not been apart for more than a few days since we've been married. Jon says that while I'm away teaching, he will organize things at home. So maybe by the end of the summer our clutter problem will be solved after all! (Jon: my clothes and shoes--that includes flip flops--are off limits!)
