Our little pumpkin(s)

So for Halloween this year, Kira visited 3 of our neighbor's houses.  We offered her a variety of costumes, including a ladybug, zebra, and pumpkin. She ultimately picked the pumpkin, but refused to wear it outside. Instead, Kira wore her Halloween shirt with a jacket and mommy wore pink butterfly wings on top of her jacket.

It was a bit cold and Kira thought that every time that someone opened the door, this was an invitation for her to run inside. So after the third time of slipping out of my grip, we decided to call it a night. These pictures were actually taken a few days later, when she wanted to wear it to school/daycare. Go figure!

Here you can see my 7 month pumpkin belly!

Mayne's Farm and Pumpkin Patch

Today I picked Kira up early from Daycare so that we could visit the local farm and check out the pumpkins.  I quickly realized that we would not be able to get a pumpkin without daddy.

Kira enjoyed a little time to explore and play, but she was a little too scared to actually try the bounce house or tractors since all the kids we saw were bigger than her.

She especially loved playing in the straw area, but had no interest in building a scarecrow. She was content to try to keep her balance walking on it and rolling around in it! After about 30 minutes she stopped listening to me and chasing her and carrying around my own little pumpkin got to be tiring. It was almost dinner time too. :)
